Title Salvation Army portrait collection
Scope & Content Formal portraits, mainly cabinet cards, of individuals or couples who are uniformed members of the Salvation Army. About half of the collection has an "F" on the collar of the uniform, indicating Fräsnings Armén, Salvation Army in Swedish. The other half have an "S" on the collar. A few have uniforms but the collar is not clear enough to tell the difference. Some are holding musical instruments. All photos are by photography studios in the United States, including several in Minnesota.
