This collection is comprised of correspondence, books, pamphlets, typewritten pages, and scrapbooks created and collected by Augusta Engdahl in the early and mid 20th century.
|Biographical Information||Augusta Engdahl was a Swedish immigrant who emigrated from Sturkö island, Blekinge län, Sweden, and settled in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was active with the American Swedish Institute and had extensive interest in August Strindberg. Much of her correspondence is between her and family members left behind in Sturkö. She married Walfrid Engdahl, a well-known social democratic activist and newspaper man.|
