Scope & Content Albums of postcards sent to Anton and Matilda (Fransén) Englund and their daughters Greta and Astrid when they lived in Norrköping, Sweden and La Moure, North Dakota. Many are greeting postcards. Many of the Swedish scenic cards are from Norrköping. In one album, there are many scenes of Fargo, North Dakota and Minneapolis, Minnesota, sent to Matilda by friends and relatives. One album contains cards sent to Greta, one contains cards sent to Astrid, and most of both are greeting postcards. Scenes of Minnesota and North Dakota are scattered throughout this collection. The Englunds emigrated from Sweden to North Dakota in 1909 and to Minneapolis about ten years later.
